THE THREE SISTERS and GIANT STAIRWAY down into the valley walk through KATOOMBA FALLS to SCENIC WORLD with the rain forrest Boardwalk,climb back up THE FURBER STAIRS or hop on the world's STEEPEST RAILWAY or CABLEWAY to bring you back up. The SKYWAY takes you over Katoomba Falls for breathtaking views.

Picturesque LEURA VILLAGE for a spot of shopping, to the tranquility of LEURA CASCADES,or a trip down memory lane at THE TOY AND RAIL MUSEUM, a grand old house with toys of yesteryear, a collection of Barbie dolls for the girls,and interactive trains for the boys, for mums and dads a stroll through the gardens full of Australian Railway Station memorabilia.Opposite THE AMPHITHEATRE (a great spot to sit awhile and soak up the magnificent views) Learn about THE THREE MYSTERIES.

A Little Further Afield
Drive through Leura and onto WENTWORTHFALLS (approx 15 min) or (approx 20 min) in the opposite direction drive through MEDLOW BATH past THE HYDRO MAJESTIC to the town of BLACKHEATH,walk through THE GRAND CANYON,or THE RHODEDENDRON GARDENS. Maybe a spot of HORSE RIDING in the MEGALONG VALLEY.

Drive on through Mt VICTORIA and HARTLEY HISTORICAL VILLAGE and you are well on your way to JENOLAN CAVES (approx 1.5k from Katoomba)

Alternatively visit THE ZIG ZAG RAILWAY and step back to the 1860's and travel the original track through Clarence Tunnel and over Sandstone Viaducts. Enjoy views over Lithgow and the Zig Zag Brewery (makers of Wombat Beer).
